Research shows that robotics can boost memory, fine motor skills, and brain activity. A pilot study published in The Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences found that robot-assisted therapy helped elderly individuals with dementia improve their cognitive function, memory, and fine motor skills. The study highlighted the positive impact of robotics on preventing cognitive decline and improving engagement in seniors (O’Brien et al., 2016).
